Nudge Theory and It’s Implementations on Regional Economic Policies
Brief Description of the Training:
The Nudge Theory is a flexible and modern concept in behavioural sciences to understand how people think, make decisions, and behave. The concept helps people to improve their thinking and decisions, manage all kinds of changes, identify and change existing influences. This is an approach by analysing, improving, designing, and offering free choices for people, so that their decisions are more likely to produce helpful outcomes for those people and society generally. Among others, Nudge theory is a different and more sophisticated approach to achieving change in people than traditional methods, such as direct instruction, enforcement and punishment. Nudge theory offers a methodology for identifying, analysing, and re-shaping existing choices and influences that people are given by governments, corporations, and other authorities. Participants of this training will be introduced to the nudge theory and its philosophy, the principle and technique, as well as the implications and application in regional economic policies making. Participants will have an opportunity to design step by step a nudging for solving problems in their field.
